1. Is there an entry fee?
There is a $50 entry fee for the Miss Heartland’s Princess division. There is no entry fee for Miss Heartland’s Outstanding Teen or Miss Heartland.
2. What are the talent requirements?
The Miss and Teen divisions have a two-minute talent competition that is judged. The contestants are required to provide a CD that contains only the talent music selection at the rehearsal.
3. Where can I get the required paperwork?
Send a request for paperwork to missheartland@hotmail.com with the contestant’s name, phone number, age, and which competition the contestant will be competing in.
4. What is the proper attire for competition?
Princess- A formal or party dress of choice.
Teen- Evening gown, Talent outfit, Sportswear outfit, and a daytime suit or dress for the interview competition.
Miss- Evening gown, Talent outfit, Swimsuit, and a daytime suit or dress for the interview competition.
5. Are there any practices before the competition?
Princess- A practice and informational meeting will be held on Friday, March 21 at 4:00 pm at the Anna-Jonesboro High School Auditorium. The $50 entry fee is due at this meeting.
